World Invitational.  Awards Ceremony.  Legoland.

The weekend of competition and activities concluded on Sunday May 6th at Legoland, FL.  With teams and supporters present, hundreds gathered to hear inspirational words from NASA astronauts and the CEO of Legoland before awards were given out. 

Surrounded by this amazing group of kids, the Cyber Rays did it once again and were awarded the 2nd place trophy for Effective Communication of their Presentation!   They competed against the best from around the world, and represented their school and Island.  Go Rays.  You made us all so proud. 

FLL World Invitational.  May 2 - 6.  Lakeland / Winterhaven, Florida.

Over 64 teams from around the world came ready to compete at the World Invitational.  Bermuda, Spain, Holland, South Africa, Israel, Japan, Germany, Canada, France, Brazil, Columbia …. just to name a few, showcased the best of the best in the FLL.  The Cyber Rays came ready to compete and did an amazing job in the 3 day competition.

The Levy family came over from Jamaica for a weekend of diving and hanging out.  The dive operation, Wall to Wall Diving, was amazing and Denise and Capt. Al found all of the perfect dive sites for our private group, which consisted of 2 Instructors, 1 Dive Master, 3 Open Water Divers and 4 Junior Open Water Divers.  We did a wall dive on the West Wall, The Kittiwake, Stingray City and a reef dive.  The weather was perfect and a fantastic time was had by all.  It was wonderful seeing the kids so comfortable scuba diving and we loved entertaining the Levy clan and their friends, David and Sylvia, in our home.

Taylor swims the 800M open water swim and came in 39th out of over 100 swimmers.  Superstar

Panama Trade Mission Trip.

David found some time to enjoy the sights and sounds of Panama City while fulfilling his duties for the Chamber of Commerce.  

Cousins visit and the next generation reconnect.  We loved having the Lyman family with us during their spring break.  

The kids had an active day of sports.  Ryan sets PB’s in his 800M and 1500M races, and Taylor swims her first 400M open water race.  Both were superstars today.
